Ronald (b. at Decorah) went to the Catholic school in Spillville and to South Winneshiek High School in Calmar, IA. He married Nancy Nienhaus 14 Jul 1979 at St. John Catholic Church in Ft. Atkinson. Their children are: Roman,
Wayne and Maria. They live on a farm near Spillville.
Robert and Helen Kovarik are members of St. Wenceslaus Church in Spillville. They lived on a farm raising hogs, cows and chickens until retiring and moving to Spillville in 1980. Their son, Ronald, took over the farm in 1980.

Beth Ellen Womeldorf was born in Decorah, the daughter of Erlin and Lilly Womeldorf. She joined brother Roger and sister Joan. Beth attended Decorah Public Schools, graduating from high school in 1985. Beth went out for basketball in junior high school and was a very good player, but decided to be a cross country runner in high school. She enjoyed running, and continues to do so to the present. She also took piano and violin lessons, but did not view herself as a musician like her sister. She still likes to sing, and uses her talent in church choir. Beth attended Luther College, and graduated cum laude in 1989 with majors in sociology and psychology.
Beth began her work career at Wyalusing Academy in Prairie du Chien, Wl in Aug 1989. She stayed there a little over a year until she began working at Scenic Acres, rural St. Olaf, IA in the fall of 1990. She began working part time in case management for Allamakee Co. Waukon, IA in Aug 1995, along with her full time job at Scenic Acres, until the Allamakee Co position became full time in Nov 1995.

Beth married Ron Kregel 7 Apr 1990 at Decorah Lutheran Church. Ron works out of Elkader, IA for Farm Service. They lived in St. Olaf until they bought an acreage in rural Elkader.
